APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS:)
and aint that the truth.

So things here are going really good. I'm really enjoying my time here. The weather is getting a lot better it has been like 80 degrees with 60% humidity. Talk about hottt. Finally some vitamin d coming my way:) We now spend a lot of our days just sitting on the beach relaxing and my favorite thing.. people watching. It is way too easy here!

Earlier in April me and Lisa went to the water museum that everyone talked about. It was really hilarious but we aren't sure what all the talk was about. However, I did touch some disgusting fish and freaked out for a good five minutes. We also went to the ww2 museum and all the monuments. I really enjoyed the museums because I learned so much about Ukraine and ww2 that they never teach you about in school.

I had a surprise visitor come into our flat.. a sphinx cat. I heard the doorbell ring and George running around screaming and I was like what is the deal? and George kept saying "it's here! it's here!" i was like what is here??? and then it came. O boy was that a treat. for 2 days. By the end i could finally somewhat touch it. More of like pick it up throw it out of my room and shut the door. I mean I love cats but not leatherly hot ones. sssick right?

At the end of April we went to the Rainbow friendship arch at night because I read online that it lights up. So we went to take a look. Well the party was hoping there. It was really fun to see the night life. Here is a video of me making a fool of myself:)

Then this weekend Britt came to visit Ukraine from Russia. It was soo much fun! She got in on Sunday and left on Tuesday night so not very long. We made the most of it. We took her everywhere! The only problem was they weren't used to walking with having so many metro stations that it was definitely a change. But at least they saw it all:)
